Plot :

Superdad Liam Neeson Kembali Beraksi di 'Taken 2'

Jakarta - Liburan keluarga yang direncanakan Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) di Turki berubah menjadi bencana. Gerombolan penjahat yang menuntut balas dendam, menculik mantan istri Bryan dan mengincar nyawa anaknya.

Dalam sekuel 'Taken' itu, Liam kembali memerankan agen CIA yang telah pensiun. Menurutnya, dalam seri kedua film tersebut karakter Bryan akan sedikit lebih mellow.

"Aku mengambil sebuah pekerjaan di Istanbul untuk mengawal seorang syekh di sana, dan aku menemukan bahwa mantan istriku sedang mengalami masa yang buruk dengan suami barunya," ucap Liam seperti dilansir Entertainment Weekly, Selasa (26/6/2012).

Kemudian Bryan mengajak anaknya datang ke Turki sekaligus menghabiskan waktu bersama, hingga mimpi buruk itu terjadi. Menurut aktor berusia 59 tahun itu, 'Taken 2' akan mengambil latar waktu satu setengah tahun dari cerita di film pertama.

Olivier Megaton bertugas sebagai sutradara dibantu oleh Luc Besson dan Robert Mark Kamen untuk menulis skenario. Bintang lainnya yang terlibat dalam film tersebut adalah Famke Janssen, Maggie Grace, Rade Serbedzija dan Luke Grimes. 'Taken 2' dijadwalkan tayang di bioskop AS pada 5 Oktober mendatang.
